2005
YEAR IN REVIEW
SO
MUCH HAPPENED IN 2005!!!!!
The Howard
County Antique Farm Machinery Club celebrated its 10th year with
a multitude of activities. The standard activities took place; the
Annual Consignment Sale at the Howard County Fair Grounds, The Annual
Wheat Cutting, The spring and fall field trips, The Farm Heritage
School Days, and the Annual Farm Heritage Days.
The spring
field trip was to supposed to be to the 32nd
Annual Tuckahoe Steam and Gas Engine Association Reunion and Show
but it rained so much that weekend that the trip was rained out.
The fall
field trip was to the Wheeler Village Museum in Westminster, Maryland.
The most
exciting event that took place this year was the aquisition of a
cite for the Howard County Living Farm Heritage Museum. This year
we were pleased to hold the Annual Farm Heritage Days at the new
museum cite. The entire club was very excited about this new cite
and were working like crazy to get it in shape since it was aquired
in August 2005. The club continues to work on the cite and have
many projects to undertake in 2006.
Take a look
